Our
interdisciplinary educational guidance service, comprising professionals
covering the areas of psychology, educational psychology, educational sciences
and philosophy, supports students' growth by identifying, preventing and
guiding the various situations that may interfere with their comprehensive
development: cognitive, psycho-affective and social.
Our job is to:
- motivate
students to acquire the necessary skills to explore and show learning autonomy
and to manage tools that strengthen executive functions such as organization,
planning, anticipation, metacognition, comprehension, attention, emotional
regulation, among others
- promote reflection,
critical thinking, training of personal opinion and individual initiative
- encourage
self-assessment and awareness of strengths and weaknesses and environmental
constraints
- propose
spaces for reflection on specific subjects according to the developmental stage
of students
- implement
differentiated strategies and approaches in case of special needs in the
teaching-learning process. We carry out
the monitoring of these actions together with heads and teachers and
particularly with families, whose support is essential in these cases
- organize
workshops for teachers, parents and students with external and/or in-house
professionals to discuss topics related to particular needs of each level or
developmental stage.
